7 Night New Year Itinerary
Lapland is a magical place for all of the family, as an alternative to a day trip, why not stay a little longer and pack more fun into your adventure.
How better to enjoy the experience than to spend New year in Lapland and join in the celebrations.
28 December: Season's greetings
Arrive in Lapland
Santa’s friendly elves will meet you at the airport before whisking you away on a magical journey to your cosy hotel or log cabin. Then, once you’ve wrapped up warm in snug thermal clothes provided, it’s time for lunch and to plan your week’s adventures. After your first day of fun in the Arctic Circle, you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner.
29 December: Snowmobile adventure
Zoom past sugary landscapes and snowy lakes on an exciting two-hour family adventure through the woods on snowmobiles. The rest of the day is yours to try out other snowy activities or explore your festive resort.
30 December, 02 and 03 January: Time to play
You can spend these three days just how you want, with many outdoor adventures to choose from; maybe you’ll take a longer snowmobile adventure, enjoy husky dog or reindeer rides, or try a spot of downhill or cross-country skiing (additional cost).
New Year's Eve Snowy fun day
Waking up to soft, snowy landscapes, it’s time for family fun, with a short snowmobile safari and a taster ride on a sleigh pulled by lively husky dogs. Then you can fill your day with exciting activities like sledging, snow tubing or tobogganing, and see amazing snow sculptures made by Santa’s elves.
After plenty of fresh air and with a red nose like Rudolph’s and rosy cheeks, you’ll crunch through the deep snow and, if you’re lucky, meet Santa Claus himself, freshly woken from his long sleep after his busy Christmas adventures.
On this magical night, you’ll see in the new year with a festive gala dinner and a glass of bubbly, followed by a starlit firework display.
New Year's Day Snow place like Snow Ice Park
A fantastic start to the year, you’ll welcome in the first day of the new year with a big breakfast, before going to Snow Ice Park, where you can shop for souvenirs, explore the amazing ice hotel and admire the chilled surroundings of the incredible ice bar.
Order of activities is a guide and may vary between resorts.
